Altarum Institute is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Health Innovations & Technical Assistance group to work in a very fast-paced, demanding, but rewarding, consulting environment. You will have the opportunity to use your healthcare and business analytical expertise to contribute to multiple software development projects centered in Health Information Technology. You’ll report to a Center Director, and work out of our Ann Arbor, MI headquarters.
As part of an agile software development team, your primary focus will entail working with Senior Software Developers, clients, and users in identifying, gathering, and defining business requirements for custom software projects and testing tools and functionalities of Altarum products. As a full-time member of a dynamic consulting group, your specific projects, tasks, and responsibilities will evolve and change over time. Initially your focus will be working on the team that’s developing a state-of-the-art disease surveillance system for a large public health jurisdiction.
